How Light Shapes Interior Space
Daylight is a material of architecture. It reveals proportion and influences how a space is perceived.

Light reveals proportion
The same room can feel entirely different when the light enters from above, from a deep side opening or through a shaded external court. Openings, reveals and surfaces direct daylight as surely as a wall directs movement.
Contrast gives form
Uniform brightness is not always the goal. Graduated light and shadow can bring depth and order to an interior. The contrast should support comfort and visual tasks rather than becoming a purely photographic effect.
The climate matters
In Kuwait, glare and solar gain must inform every daylighting decision. Shading, glazing selection and thermal performance need to be considered alongside the quality of natural light.
